The work of the European Anti-Aging-Academy mostly takes place in temporary interdisciplinary project teams. Members of these project groups are recognized scientists from universities and non-university research organisations. In specific cases, representatives from other areas of society, e.g. from industry, can also be nominated. From their group, the members elect a chairman. Overarching issues, concerning several project groups, are dealt with in study groups by staff of the European Academy. Through participation by European scientists, European cooperation with corresponding advisory bodies, through participation in relevant networks and through explicit consideration of European aspects within the projects, the European perspective is ascertained. The European Anti-Aging-Academy has initiated a Reserach Fellowship Programme which allows to invite foreign scholars to carry out and present research projects in the field of the study of scientific advance at the European Anti-Aging-medicine. The results of the project- and study groups are made available as bases for advice and decision in the form of subject-specific studies and will be integrated in the curriculum of the academy. The final reports are published by the academy. The work is accompanied by academy conferences. The European Anti-Aging-Academy will be strongly involved in the Internetpresentation.
